Job Title: Clinical Social Worker (Early Childhood Development and Education Center-World of Care)

Job Description

Provide comprehensive mental health services to children and their families as needed, engage in reflective practice, and implement a wide variety of evidence-based care and mental health strategies.

ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer counseling.Facilitate access to community resources and support services.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.Advocate for children's well-being and educational needs.Essential SkillsMust possess and maintain a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) license issued by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Board of Social Work Examiners.Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.Minimum of four years of licensed clinical experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum one year in the provision of services to children with developmental disabilities, chronic health problems, or disorders of the brain preferred.One year of pediatric and/or family therapy experience preferred.Experience in social work and managed care is beneficial.Experience with early childhood development, early Head Start ages, and pre-school is advantageous.Work Environment
