Job Title: Clinical Social Worker III

Job Description

Provides direct supervision to assigned social work staff, trainees, and/or graduate students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting, onboarding, training, providing support and feedback, scheduling, mentoring, and ensuring the adherence and compliance of workplace standards and policies. This role includes providing clinical social work services to children, adolescents, teens, and families through diagnostic interviews and treatment via individual, group, family, or marital therapy. Collaboration with referring agencies, school systems, and juvenile courts to develop service plans and ensure appropriate services for children is also required. Active participation in research, committee projects, and team development is expected.

ResponsibilitiesProvide direct supervision to assigned social work staff, trainees, and graduate students.Recruit, onboard, train, support, and mentor social work staff.Ensure adherence and compliance with workplace standards and policies.Provide clinical social work services including diagnostic interviews and treatment.Collaborate with referring agencies, school systems, and juvenile courts.Participate in individual supervision, clinic meetings, and administrative staff meetings.Maintain medical records for each client including diagnostic notes and treatment plans.Actively participate in departmental or interdisciplinary research and committee projects.Supervise and train social work interns as needed.Essential SkillsLicensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in the State of Maryland.CPR certification.At least 4 years’ experience providing services to children with developmental and emotional disturbances.Competence across all age groups, with a focus on neonate, pediatric, adolescent populations, and some adults with disabilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree from an accredited School of Social Work.Experience with marginalized groups and a champion of social justice.Work Environment

Work schedule may include virtual or in-person sessions, with varying days and hours from Monday to Friday. Free onsite parking is available. The role offers excellent benefits, supervision, and training for clinicians at an outpatient mental health clinic specializing in trauma treatment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83674.00 - $95000.00
