Your Role at Baxter

As a Specialist, Clinical Solutions, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, best-practice standards, and professional skills to support Sales and Services engagements for the Baxter Care Communications product portfolio including Nurse Call and Digital Health products. You will report to the Clinical Operations Manager and work internally with the Project Management team and Engineers, and externally with customer clinical staff to implement and provide updates on project status.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $72,000- 90,000 + Bonus.TRAVEL: Up to 80% travel including overnight travel. 100 % REMOTEMust be located near a major airport in Pacific Northwest, Denver, CO, Las Vegas, NV, Arizona

What you’ll be doing

As a Specialist, Clinical Solutions you will execute clinical program deliverables for sales/service delivery, including clinical assessments, clinical design strategy, user acceptance testing, go-live support, revenue recognition and ongoing customer clinical engagements.Collaborate with Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, Implementation Engineers, Care Communication Executives and Account Managers to ensure a successful device purchase and implementation.Provide clinical assessments within any of the defined clinical program workflows such as nurse call, voice, text, codes, rapid response, clinical integrations, EHR, physiological monitoring and clinical training.Clinically assess health care organizations related to current state, future state with Baxter Care Communications products and improved outcomes for patients and their caregivers.Lead clinical workshops to guide clinicians in their choice of clinical configurations of Care Communications products for enterprise and unit-based settings.Provide general healthcare and patient flow, process and outcomes knowledge and content to the Sales and Services teams and participate in the development of user stories, use cases and workflow diagrams.Develop strong collaborative partnerships with the customer to ensure adoption and successful data driven outcomes of all Care Communication product deployments.Provide clinical content to support Sales and Services engagements via written and verbal formats. Create and manage clinical program documentation and oversee quality control throughout the life cycle of a customer engagement.Provide project related executive summary documentation to hospital stakeholders.Collaboratively build references and clinical user groups at strategic customer hospital facilities to advance Baxter clinical product value proposition.

What you’ll bring

RN, BSN, requiredMinimum of 3+ years of experience in the acute care hospital environment working with all levels of hospital staff and leadership. Previous acute care nursing experience.Ability to articulate, design and successfully implement clinical technology.Facilitate change management philosophies to enhance the adoption of all Baxter Care Communication programs.Excellent presentation skills and able to build written content with little direction.Proven success in verbal and written communication along with tactical experience with Microsoft suite.Must be able to work in team environment or independently making clinical consulting decisions without guidance.Strong conflict resolution skills, including the abilities to negotiate and influence others.Good problem solving and analytical skills to understand key customer clinical issues and define how IT solutions will solve challenges facing our customers today.Experience with standards development based on healthcare industry trends.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $72,000 - $108,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
