We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Clinical Specialist to work alongside physicians in providing musculoskeletal solutions to address immediate patient needs at clinics across Western PA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for advising on and fitting patients with orthopedic products, educating them on proper use, and ensuring smooth, effective clinic operations. This position requires reliable personal transportation for setup and retrieval of products.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients’ needs in collaboration with the physician, suggesting clinically appropriate orthopedic solutions.
Measure and fit patients with off-the-shelf braces and other orthopedic products, providing individualized education on usage and care.
Assist with patient flow and care services to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Complete and submit all paperwork related to claims billing for distributed products, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Ensure necessary follow-ups with patients and products for continuity of care.
Skills and Qualifications:
Quick thinking and able to provide solutions under fast-paced conditions.
Strong interpersonal skills for building trust and rapport with patients.
Capable of managing documentation and maintaining thorough records.
Clear in explaining complex product usage and therapeutic benefits to patients and caregivers.
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least 1 year of related experience (such as Athletic Training, Physical Therapy Aide, or Exercise Physiology).
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Sales experience and additional certifications such as Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) are a plus.
