Position summary: Provides patient care on a daily basis. Develops and delivers physical therapy programs to maximize
functional return and prevent disability following disease, illness, injury, or loss of a body part. Expert in
primary area of clinical practice. Has obtained the profession’s most recognized advanced certification or
competency in specialty area. Maintains expertise via annual ongoing Continuing Education and presents
highest quality inservices. Regularly trains Rehab staff and students, Family Practice Residents and serves as
the clinical resource to Rehab and medical staff. Responsible for marketing, establishing and maintaining
relations with referral sources and developing policies and procedures to insure we follow clinical practice
guidelines within area of specialty. May perform other duties as assigned.   Qualifications: Current and valid California State Physical Therapy. Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language
Pathology License. Graduate of Accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language
Pathology program. BLS. Certification in Special area from APTA, AOTA, ASHA or similar nationally recognized
organization. Advanced clinical training experience and continuing education in specialty area.   Preferred Qualifications: Strong clinical knowledge across the most common rehab diagnoses seen at PVHMC.   Salary Range: $48.17 - $67.78
