About the role:
The Clinical Specialist independently covers Intracept cases, training the surgical team on the safe and effective uses of the device. This person covers Intracept cases in the territory, region or at times the nation, as assigned. The Clinical Specialist works with the surgical team members to provide clinical product assistance to the surgeon. The Clinical Specialist will also provide clinical support for physician training and sales training programs. Join our vision to transform the treatment of chronic low back pain.
Location: Ideal candidate will reside in the Washington DC metro area.

Required Qualifications:
Experience with procedures utilizing fluoroscopy, CT, MRI or X-rays / radiography is essential. High School Diploma or GED or associate degree with a minimum 4 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role, preferably in a medical device company; OR A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years in a clinical specialist or related medical role (Rad. Tech. / Surg. Tech., etc.), preferably in a medical device company. Customer relationship and procedural skill development experience. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance is required. Travel is required. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend and lift to complete the basic functions of the role. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job involve normal vision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Operating Room experience (exposure to surgery/surgical procedures) Spine or Pain Management experience Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to pivot and work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Anticipated annualized base salary for this full-time position $90,000.00, plus variable compensation governed by Boston Scientific’s Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
