Position Description

The Clinical Student Placement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating student placements and professional learning experiences throughout the Northside Hospital System. The coordinator will work with stakeholders, including clinical leaders, to evaluate potential clinical placement areas that promote the best clinical experiences for students, as well as collaborate with the school partnership team to plan and coordinate placement for students. This position also engages school partners in ensuring effective onboarding for students. The coordinator will also work dynamically and collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholders including Patient Care Administration, Human Resources, and a wide variety of clinical departments.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact Multistate License (NLC/eNLC) Two (2) years of experience in an acute care hospital environment. One (1) year of experience in clinical education in the academic or acute care setting.

PREFERRED

 

Master’s Degree in Nursing. Certified in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC).
