Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with community agencies and resources.

Coordinate with external providers to address client needs and ensure comprehensive care.

Conduct monthly and quarterly record reviews to maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Facilitate weekly clinical case staffing, team, and diagnostic disposition meetings.

Provide clinical services, including intakes, individual, family, and group therapy as applicable.

Monitor team performance, ensuring services are appropriate, justified, and meet direct service expectations.

Develop and oversee program schedules to meet client needs while maintaining compliance with client rights and responsibilities.

Collaborate with site management and leadership to develop fiscal projections and adhere to program budgets.

Supervise, evaluate, and provide training for team members to ensure effective service delivery.

Respond to crises, ensure proper incident reporting, and address program concerns promptly.

Monitor environmental conditions, including safety, cleanliness, and operations.

Support the organization’s mission and strategic objectives through active engagement and leadership.
 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field, with at least 3 years of professional experience in behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR

Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related field, with at least 4 years of professional experience in behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment and 2 years of supervisory experience; OR

Qualified Addiction Professional certification from the Missouri Credentialing Board (or applicable state board) with 4 years of professional experience in substance use disorder treatment and 3 years of supervisory experience; OR

Licensed counselor, psychologist, or physician with at least 1 year of professional experience in behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment and 1 year of supervisory experience.


 

Additional Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of clinical best practices, mental health, and substance use disorder treatment.

Strong skills in supervision, training, and staff development.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Experience managing program budgets and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction, guidance, and leadership to team members.

Conduct performance evaluations, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and offer corrective coaching.

Champion change and effectively implement new ideas and initiatives.

Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging input and participation at all levels.
