In this role, you will oversee clinical operations, provide direction and supervision to staff, and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Lead clinical oversight of client and patient care, ensuring the delivery of quality services that align with program standards.
Facilitate clinical case staffing, team meetings, and diagnostic disposition discussions to support effective service delivery.
Provide supervision and mentorship to team members, identifying strengths, addressing weaknesses, and ensuring professional growth.
Conduct regular record reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and agency quality improvement indicators.
Maintain a small caseload, including conducting intakes and providing individual, family, and group therapy as needed.
Develop and monitor program schedules, budgets, and fiscal projections to align with organizational goals.
Coordinate services with external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for clients and their families.
Respond to crisis situations, providing guidance and support while ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
Oversee program environments, including safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement by participating in quality management initiatives and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field with at least three (3) years of professional experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment and one (1) year of supervisory experience in substance use disorder treatment; OR
Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field with at least four (4) years of professional experience in behavioral health or substance use disorders and two (2) years of supervisory experience in substance use disorder treatment; OR
Qualified Addiction Professional certified by the Missouri Credentialing Board or applicable state board with four (4) years of professional experience in the field of substance use disorder treatment and three (3) years of supervisory experience; OR
Licensed counselor, psychologist, or physician with at least one (1) year of professional experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment and one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Additional Qualifications:
Current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
First Aid and CPR certification within three (3) months of employment.
Completion of required training, including behavioral management, Relias, and other applicable certifications.
Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, effective supervision, and team leadership.
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and writing.
Sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.
