Key Responsibilities:

Cultivate strong partnerships with community agencies and referral sources to enhance collaboration and service delivery.

Lead monthly and quarterly record reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and achieve quality improvement goals.

Facilitate and guide weekly clinical case staffings, team meetings, and diagnostic disposition discussions to promote collaborative decision-making.

Deliver direct client care when needed, including conducting intakes, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy sessions.

Provide oversight and guidance to team members, ensuring service delivery aligns with clinical standards and is appropriately justified.

Monitor progress notes for accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with documentation requirements.

Design and implement program schedules, coordinating with external agencies to address client needs effectively.

Manage program budgets with precision, reviewing service plans to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational goals.

Supervise and evaluate team performance, identifying strengths and growth opportunities while providing tailored training and professional development.

Take prompt action in crisis situations, ensure timely incident reporting, and maintain a safe, clean, and supportive program environment.
 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related field, with at least three (3) years of professional experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience in substance use disorder treatment; OR

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with four (4) years of professional experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience in substance use disorder treatment.

Qualified Addiction Professional certification from the Missouri Credentialing Board, or a similar state certification, with four (4) years of professional experience and three (3) years of supervisory experience; OR

Licensed counselor, psychologist, or physician with at least one (1) year of professional and supervisory experience in substance use disorder treatment.

Additional Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of clinical best practices in mental health and substance use disorder treatment.

Strong supervisory and training skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to develop and evaluate programs and implement corrective actions as needed.
