Clinical Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities: + Responsible for monitoring the flow of clinical appointments. + Delegation of duties as appropriate. + Responsible for supervision of physical exams (pre-employments, periodic, DOT, BOR, etc.) and any other clinical appointment. + Assist with performing physicals, follow-up and return-to-work exams, scheduling, and providing overall assistance with daily operations as necessary. + Assist with the orientation, onboarding and ongoing periodic training of the department’s clinical staff. + Acts as liaison and clinical resource for other business lines and/or vendors as appropriate. + Attend assigned meetings as delegated. + Assist with maintaining compliance with all applicable company/departmental policies. + Serves as the back-up to the Clinical Manager when appropriate. + Assists in other duties/tasks as assigned. + Travel as needed to other worksite locations. Education, Experience and Qualifications: + Associates Degree in a healthcare related discipline required, License to practice nursing (RN) in the state of NJ required. Two (2) to three (3) years clinical experience (hospital, medical facility or physician’s office) required supervisory experience preferred. + Experience in Occupational Health/Occupational Medicine preferred. + Experience handling confidential health information required + Experience communicating directly with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization. Knowledge and Skills: + Knowledge of medical terminology required. + Knowledge of HIPPA required. + Knowledge of occupational health, FMLA, ADA preferred. + Proficient use of computers and software – specifically Microsoft Office Suite required. + Strong interpersonal communication skills – must be able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, internal and external customers. + Excellent organization, administrative and multi-tasking skills required. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
