Clinical Supervisor
Overview The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision and support to foster and maintain a person-centered therapeutic environment, allowing individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their maximum potential. Annual Salary $85,000 - $90,000 Responsibilities + Provide clinical supervision for a team of Behavior Intervention Specialists working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities; review and approve Person Centered Behavior Support Plans of these clinicians. + Develop and oversee the Person-Centered Behavior Support Plans for a specified caseload of individuals, developed in conjunction with inclusive Functional Behavioral Assessments. + Responsible for maintaining all behavioral data related to individuals on assigned caseload. + Participates in all service planning meetings involving the individuals on assigned caseload, across settings. + Acts as the liason between day and residential programming to ensure consistency in the behavioral planning whenever possible and to ensure that goals match the needs of the individual across different settings. + Model behavioral interventions. + Provides counseling and therapeutic support to individuals on assigned caseload. + Maintains regular communication with and coordination of services with all service providers. + Participates in staff and treatment team meetings and trains staff on the clinical needs of the individuals on assigned caseload. + Conducts necessary psychological evaluations and other assessments as needed. + Completes all paperwork in a timely manner, ensuring that functional behavioral assessments, person centered behavior support plans and all other required documentation meets the requirements of standards set by OPWDD. Completes monthly notes on individual’s behavioral progress. + Participates in appropriate committee meetings. + Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and protected information according to HIPAA standards. + Conducts self in a professional and courteous manner at all times. + Demonstrates teamwork by assuming expected role on the team and maintaining collaborative relations with other members. + Demonstrates commitment to departmental and organizational goals. + Assumption of other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility Yes Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time position, with one remote day optional. Monday-Friday, some flexibility of scheduled hours Travel Required: This position requires the Clinical Supervisor to travel to varying residences (IRAs) in order to fulfill job responsibilities. Qualifications + LCSW or Licensed Psychologist required. + Experience working with individuals with varying degrees of intellectual/developmental disabilities a must. + Previous supervisory experience preferred. + Excellent organizational/communication/writing skills.
