Position Summary:
Supervises and oversees the clinical delivery of services in accordance with best practice, licensing, accreditation and agency standards. Provides daily clinical oversight to the team through supervision of licensed and other clinical staff. Serves as clinical expert within scope of practice and program guidelines.
Position Description:
Responsible for overseeing the clinical delivery of services in accordance with the contract, licensing, certification, accreditation and agency standardsUse approved evidence-based models to drive program development, implementation and fidelity to best practicesPerform case review and clinical oversight within scope of licenseMonitor key indicators that impact financial outcome and performanceMaintain clinical and programmatic workflow and delegate effectivelyWork with Associate Director and others on clinical and programmatic initiatives Drive collaboration and cooperation between service lines to ensure service integrationDirect and supervise clinical staff by ensuring training needs are met and regular supervision occursProvide licensure supervision to designated staff seeking independent licensureEnsure quality clinical documentation in accordance with contract, regulatory and agency requirementsAssure compliance with: site audits, peer reviews and agency Continuous Quality Improvement initiativesGenerate outcome data and use for improvementMonitor and complete all reports according to contract, licensing, certification, accreditation standardsFollow protocols in responding to, reporting, and resolving unusual incidentsMitigate risk using crisis intervention skills and anticipate/prevent crisisProvide clinical supervision to direct service staff by assuring that training and supervision occurWill participate in the hiring process of all reporting staffOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based models in specific area of expertiseAbility to interface with internal and external customersAbility to resolve conflict in an open, effective and timely mannerSkill in fostering teamwork and a positive work environmentExcellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detailAbility to maintain and ensure appropriate boundaries with staff and clientsEffective verbal and written communication skillsSkill in providing supervision, coaching, and development to staffStrong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-taskJob Requirements:
Masters degree in Social Sciences or applicable field and;Independent clinical license (LISW, LPCC, IMFT, LICDC) specific to area of focus, with supervisory (S) designation within one year of hireValid drivers license and current auto insuranceEssential Functions/Physical Demands:
