LIFE STAR helicopter services We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communitiesJob SummarySupervises programs andor staff to ensure that a high quality cost effective service is delivered by the departments Provides direct patient care that is specific to each patients needs including those needs that are age specific Coordinates with various departments on campus to ensure that milieu needs are being met including but not limited to external clinical programs environmental services infection control pharmacy and security Also coordinates and oversees services with collaborative providers such as DMHAS and DCF Models the effective efficient operation of the Program by scheduling and assigning work resolving processing problems collecting data to monitor progress Continually improves quality and productivity by identifying improvement opportunities and recommending and implementing changesImplements and monitors departmental goals and objectives for the work group by analyzing needs and developing recommendations Implement individual performance expectations coaching developing of direct reports and providing input to performance of indirect reportsWorks across departments and programs to collaborate on like programs to build consistency and efficienciesReviews documentation and medical records supervisory experience clinical awareness and insight required years of direct clinical practice preferredCurrent licensed LCSW LPC LMFT or PsyD in the State of CTStrong communication skills required both written and verbal Bilingual language skills preferredKnowledge Skills and Ability RequirementsUnderstanding of external Regulatory agencies and requirementsAbility to lead staffEffective
