The Clinical Supervisor is a vital full-time role split between our LINK and CFTSS programs. The individual holding this position is entrusted with the responsibility of carrying a small clinical caseload providing in home therapy through the OLP service in CFTSS in addition to overseeing, guiding, and supporting the clinical activities of the LINK program Interventionists. Drawing from deep clinical expertise, the Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical services to youth as well as assists with LINK team meetings, provides pivotal clinical direction on individual cases, and fosters an environment of continuous learning through side-by-side client contacts and individual staff supervisions. Upholding the highest standards of care, the Supervisor ensures that all practices align with the regulations set by the Office of Mental Health and champions the best interests of our clients at all times.

 

Directly supervise all program staff activities, ensuring adherence to clinical best practices and programmatic guidelines. Provide clinical guidance and direction to staff regarding individual cases, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients. Conduct regular individual supervision meetings with staff, offering feedback, mentorship, and support. On-call for all program staff for the purpose of crisis intervention and support, as needed. Demonstrate an understanding of common treatment modalities used for childhood psychiatric disorders, particularly evidence based treatments, experience in providing such AND willingness to expand their professional skills through varied trainings. Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments to determine strengths, identified needs and to determine efficacy of interventions. Provide ongoing individual and family therapy utilizing age appropriate therapeutic interventions, preferably evidence based. Collaboration and partnership with the Program Director regarding administrative oversight of the LINK program. Co-facilitate team organizational and clinical meetings, ensuring clear communication and fostering a collaborative team environment. Manage referrals including receiving and processing new referrals, progressively outreaching to families to introduce the program and assess eligibility. Ensure timely follow up with families. Establish and maintain regular contact with Stony Brook CPEP, DASH, ERs, School Districts and other referral sources.
