Clinical Supervisor-Whitehall Family Medicine and Urgent Care

Description:

Assists practice leader in developing/implementation oversight of appropriate business office policies to promote timely and efficient flow of patients through the clinics and facilitate communication back to referral network.
 Ensures the ambulatory clinic policies and process improvements are implemented on a daily basis.
 Assists in maintaining appropriate documentation manuals, office policies/procedures and ensures compliance with appropriate regulations.
 Provides effective day to day staff resource management, including appropriate business staff scheduling, shift coverage, and facilitating productivity goals.
 Edits time and attendance system for all staff members as appropriate for practice leader approval.
 Communicates/collaborates with all staff, Practice Leader, and providers regarding site business needs, issues, information, etc. Assists Practice Leader with the hiring, evaluation, mentoring, and disciplinary processes as appropriate and within scope of accountability.
 Provides supervision to business office staff, and conducts orientation and training for new business office personnel.
 Manages the acquisition and repair of office operational equipment and makes recommendations for improvements to ensure the proper maintenance is conducted.
 Makes recommendations and provides input to practice leader on achieving budget goals, meeting revenue cycle metrics, and variances.
 Serves as an organizational resource to lead or actively participate in projects and program initiatives.
 Responsible for preparing daily deposits and/or checking for accuracy and investigating any discrepancies.  Acts as a resource and models the delivery of excellence in customer service to customers and staff.  May occasionally step in to help staff with the day-to-day duties.  Provides supervision to clinical office staff, and conducts orientation and training for new clinical personnel.  Provides effective day-to-day staff resource management, including appropriate business and clinical staff scheduling, shift coverage, and facilitating productivity goals.  Oversees clinical office functions such as quality control and JACHO compliance.  Provides input on interviewing, hiring, and training of clinical and business staff.  Responsible for continual learning and individual role development.  Attend monthly clinical lead meetings to provide input to practice leader and clinical staff.  Facilitate monthly clinical staff meetings.  Assist with clinical staff evaluations.
 Performs other duties as assigned.
 

Position will support both family medicine and urgent care department areas.
