Job Description:

The Clinical Support Assistant provides support to providers and the care teams by performing routine administrative and clinical tasks.

Principle Responsibilities

Manage medical records of patients.Collaborate effectively and appropriately with inside/outside referral sources to assure timely completion of chart compilation including but not limited to documents, imaging, and pathology.Provide outside facilities and clinics with pertinent health information requested in a timely fashion according to HIPAA regulations.Perform clerical duties within the department.Respond and process phone/verbal/email requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that all are complete.Provide excellent, quality customer service.Prepare examination rooms for procedure.Stock supplies.Assist in clinical areas.Maintain inventory of supplies.Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or GED0 to 2 years of Excellian/Epic experience0 to 2 years of medical, clinical or hospital clerical/office experience0 to 2 years of Medical terminology
