Clinical Support Specialist, full time, days
Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Provides a variety of clinical support including patient transport, patient sitter, housekeeping, and supply management.  Transports patients to and from various treatment areas, including but not limited to the Observation Unit and Behavioral Health inpatient unit. Ensures infection prevention using proper cleaning techniques when cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment in between patient use. Delivers and maintains supplies and equipment and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. May provide temporary sitter role by providing direct observation of patients to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

Education & Training:  High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Orientation & Experience: Previous patient care or customer service work is preferred.

Skills & Abilities:  Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop and use proper body mechanics. Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in the English language. Have the ability to follow directions, organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities. Excellent customer and interpersonal skills. Integrity, teamwork and innovation. Responds to emergencies appropriately and maintains patient confidentiality.

Additional InformationPay Range: $18.07/hr-$21.19/hrOther Compensation (if applicable):
