Clinical Technician 2 – Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus  

Full-time | Rotations; Days & Nights | Shift: Days Vary, 6AM– 6:30PM & 6PM - 6:30AM

Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

 

The Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit with renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician to join the team in a full-time capacity! 

Your shifts will be from 6AM– 6:30PM & 6PM - 6:30AM with rotating weekends or holidays.

Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse. ADLs Blood Draws IV Insertion Catheter / Foley insertion  Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.  Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

 

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or successful completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an Accredited RN Program and/or two years of nursing school completed Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English Training:  Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of, Virtual modules Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM On-unit training with department hired into (times TBD) Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, preferred.
