Clinical Technician 1 – Psych - Medical Surgical Unit with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus 

Full-time | Days | Shift: Days Vary, 6AM – 6:30PM

Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

 

The Psych - Medical Surgical Unit with renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician 1 to join the team in a full-time capacity! 

Your shifts will be from 6AM-6:30PM &: with no rotating weekends & holidays.

Clinical Technician 1 Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse. ADLs Blood Draws IV Insertion Catheter / Foley insertion  Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.  Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

 

Clinical Technician 1 Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds Training:  Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of, Virtual modules Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total) Shifts on unit
