Job Title: Clinical Trials Financial Analyst

Job Description

The Clinical Trials Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing financial aspects of clinical trials, including budget preparation, negotiation, billing, and compliance. This role involves interfacing with various departments and sponsors to ensure smooth financial operations and regulatory adherence in clinical research.

ResponsibilitiesRequest clinical trial budgets and contracts from sponsors and CROsReview clinical trial protocols and develop internal budgetsPrepare clinical trial budget documentsInterface with various departments and sponsors to negotiate budgetsFacilitate clinical trial billingEnsure clinical research billing and regulatory complianceAssist with accounts receivables and follow up on outstanding revenue paymentsLiaise with central Research Financial Services (RFS) to close out clinical trialsReview incoming revenue/cash each week to identify new revenues and obtain corresponding payment backupsPerform journal entries in a timely mannerAssist team working with central RFS on cleaning up and identifying project sources for “unapplied” paymentsMonitor EPIC MP requisitions (not approving) and update tracker and available project account balance using Oracle reportsOther duties as assignedEssential SkillsExperience with Oncore, EPIC, Oracle, and clinical trial budgetingKnowledge of FDA regulations and clinical research processesStrong financial analysis and negotiation skillsProficiency in clinical trial billing and regulatory complianceAbility to perform journal entries and manage accounts receivablesAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's DegreeBackground in oncology is a plusExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbout Actalent
