About the Role: As a Shelter Clinician in our Consumer Support Services industry, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy to clients. Your work will directly contribute to improving the mental health and well-being of those in need, and ultimately help them transition out of homelessness. Minimum Qualifications: + Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field + Current licensure as a mental health professional in the state of MA. + Experience providing mental health services to individuals experiencing homelessness or in a similar population + Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: + Bilingual in English and Spanish + Experience working in a shelter or other homeless service setting + Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices for treating mental illness + Experience working with diverse populations Responsibilities: + Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health needs + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans + Provide individual and group therapy to clients + Collaborate with other service providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients + Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and progress Skills: As a Shelter Clinician, you will utilize your strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices to provide effective mental health services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. You will need to be able to work independently, while also collaborating with other service providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, as is the ability to work with a diverse population. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred, but not required.
