As the Clinician in the "McCloskey Cares Clinic" of Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, you will be responsible for providing Individual, Group and Family therapy, mental health crisis intervention for children and their families in the Cardinal McCloskey School Based Satellite clinic located at Cardinal Hayes High School . The clinician will establish and maintain ongoing communication with all members of the treatment team. Complete an initial treatment plan within 30 days of admission for each child/youth; complete updated treatment plans every 180 days thereafter, complete weekly progress notes, and complete discharge summaries when treatment is completed. Participate in weekly clinical supervision with the Clinical Supervisor. Position Hours: Hours may include evenings. Education & Experience + Master's level clinician with a degree in social work, mental health counseling; Licensure required; Limited Permit, LMSW, LMHC + Minimum two years' experience providing clinical assessments/treatments, case management services for children/adolescents and Families + Knowledge of the complex issues presented by children and families who are involved in the child welfare system. + Have some working knowledge of the Children's systems, including ACS, OMH, DOE. + Understanding of and appreciation of the roles of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual preference and individual values as they relate to servicing client and families. + Preference is given to staff who have been trained in any evidence based models of care for children and families + Familiarity with OMH operated Article 31 clinics, Part 599 regulations is preferred.
