Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a clinician for their Girls Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Program in Rutland, MA. The West Side program is a campus-based residential program, which serves female-identified and gender diverse youth age 13 through 21 with mental/behavioral health and trauma disorders. The clinician is responsible for individual, group and family therapy, risk assessment, consultation to the multi-disciplinary team, and positively interfaces with external agencies. The primary clinical treatment model for this program is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with TF-CBT being utilized as the stage 2 treatment and all interventions are embedded within a trauma-informed care milieu.

 

The ideal candidate will have training and experience in DBT and/or CBT, facilitating clinical groups, and exposure to trauma-informed care or training in TF-CBT. Devereux provides the Clinician with access to ongoing training in DBT and other evidence-based treatment models, with opportunities to pursue agency-supported certification as a DBT therapist. The clinician also participates in a weekly DBT consult group with other practitioners providing DBT interventions within other programs.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Must be 21 years of ageValid driver's licenseMasters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work or Mental Health Field field required.DBT and/or trauma-based intervention experience preferredAble to complete 2 week new hire paid orientation training in Rutland, Monday - Friday from 8-4pmMonday - Friday Day shift proceeding trainingOn-call rotation, approximately 1 week every 3-4 months (as needed)
