Job Overview:
The Cloud Applications and SaaS Administrator (CAA) will manage enterprise cloud-based applications provided by ITS for faculty, staff, and students at the University of Virginia. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Cloud App and SaaS Administrator to create efficient, compliant provisioning and management methods for SaaS products like Qualtrics, Box, Zoom, Eventbrite, Smartsheet, and other leading tools.
The CAA will integrate and support these services by working with project and operations teams, as well as collaborating with Enterprise and Infrastructure Systems, Identity Services, and Access Management teams to optimize processes like provisioning and deprovisioning.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management: Administer Zoom, Qualtrics, Box, and emergency notification systems.Configuration: Handle dashboard/portal configuration, user management, and API integration.Documentation & Scripting: Create technical documentation and scripts to automate processes.Vendor & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with SaaS vendors and engage with stakeholders across the University.Compliance: Partner with Information Security to ensure compliance with industry standards.Why Join ITS at UVA?

3+ years of relevant experience in SaaS administration.Proficiency with SaaS administration concepts.Experience with Directory Software (Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP) for integration and process improvement.Strong ability to maintain vendor relationships.Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing SaaS applications and working with Identity Management systems.Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).Familiarity with Information Security principles and practices.Understanding of APIs, SSO principles (Shibboleth/SAML), and directory services (LDAP).Skills in creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.Application Process:
