**Contributions**
As a **Cloud Architect** , you will work within our growingDevSecOpspractice delivering features to support cloud migration, cloud optimization and cloud deployment. We are looking for candidates with8-10years experiencewith cloud platform services and DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code and confirmation management automation.Responsibilities include:
+ Identifyand implement the mostoptimalcloud-based solutions for the customer
+ Design cloud environments anddemonstratetechnical cloud architectural knowledge, playing a vital role in the design of production, staging, QA, and development of cloud infrastructures running in 24×7 environments
+ Implement and oversee cloud strategies include migrations and optimization
+ Establishing development tools and infrastructure for automation
+ Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
+ Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes
+ Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
+ Perform root cause analysis on complex business processes and technical components
+ Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
+ Identifyingtechnical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
+ Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
+ Support enterprise Cloud applications or infrastructure through infrastructure as code including any activities around automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, andmonitoringand testing, such as CI/CD
+ Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
+ Leverage virtualization and containerization tooptimizeand modernize software systems
+ Actas an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members
+ Engineer and implement solutions andproviderecommendations for continuous improvement for the servicesprovided
+ Present regular status updates andprovidecross training to other team members
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
+ BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience
+ 8Years of Experiencearchitecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions
+ 8Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e.AWS, Azure, or GCP)
+ 8Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
+ 8Years of Experience with systems development in an Agile environment
+ 8Years of Experience implementing infrastructure as code and orchestration
+ 8Years of Experience integrating deployments with industry standardDevSecOpstooling and orchestration
+ 5 Years ofExperience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics
+ Certification such as:
+ AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
+ AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional
+ Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert
+ Microsoft Certified Solution Architect Expert
+ SAFeDevOps Certification
**Preferred:**
+ MS Degreein an IT-related field
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
+ Experience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations preferred
+ Experience with scripting in Code Deploy, Concourse, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
+ Experience implementing docker containers andutilizingplatforms such as Kubernetes
+ Experience with automation tools, including Code Deploy, Chef, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $190,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
