Systems Intelligence is excited to provide IT services to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in support of Cloud programs. We are in search of an experienced Cloud Architect to support this exciting program/customer.
Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and managing enterprise infrastructure and platforms to support cloud computing needs.
Developing cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals, including selecting appropriate cloud services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and translate them into cloud-based solutions.
Ensuring secure integration of cloud systems with existing applications, maintaining data integrity and compliance with security protocols.
Performing cost analysis and optimization for cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
Monitoring cloud systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability, addressing any issues proactively.
Leading the migration of legacy systems to the cloud while minimizing disruptions.
Staying up to date with emerging cloud technologies and recommending improvements to existing architectures.
Qualifications
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 6 years of relevant experience in cloud architecture, system development, or IT infrastructure.
Proven expertise in cloud environments, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices.
Experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Java.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
