Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with a strong background in both advisory and implementation within the Cloud domain. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cloud architecture and integrations, with a focus on delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of cloud technologies, ensuring seamless cloud integrations that optimize architectural and operational excellence in cloud-based environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement innovative cloud architectures that meet client requirements for scalability, reliability, and security, with a focus on hybrid integration. Lead the strategic planning and execution of hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring a cohesive environment between on-premises infrastructure and cloud services. Develop cloud connectivity and network architecture strategies to support high availability and performance across distributed environments. Advise on cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and orchestrate the deployment of applications and services across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management through effective design and deployment strategies. Drive cloud automation and orchestration initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and agility. Facilitate the migration of applications, workloads, and data from on-premises data centres to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum performance. Establish governance, compliance, and security standards for cloud and hybrid infrastructures. Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and translate them into technical cloud solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continually improve service offerings. Document cloud architectures and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making. Maintain a working knowledge of Data Center technologies to effectively design and manage hybrid deployments, optimizing the integration of cloud services with essential on-premises infrastructure where required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred. 9 – 12/13 years of experience in architecture, with a focus on cloud architecture, hybrid cloud solutions and cloud integrations. Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies as they relate to cloud environments. Proven ability to lead complex cloud migration and transformation projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
