About the role

Responsible for the Software Quality Assurance team, leading new and existing Quality Assurance initiatives, and will be instrumental in managing QA processes, driving test methods, risk analysis, resource planning and estimating for client projects. Drives the test automation strategy. The architect sets the technical direction for the QA work and leads the test automation team. The Architect will work closely with development and the test team to meet the quality objectives of the client organization. Establish design principles for QA automation and Performance Testing Present options and recommendations as needed. Sound experience in creating an automation framework for more than one application types - Web, Mobile, API etc. Good Experience in various automation approaches in framework building like POM, TDD, BDD, Builder Patterns. Develop Automation using (Cucumber, Selenium, using .NET, Java and JavaScript) and generate reports for different applications and systems based on technical analysis, complexity, and reusability! Solution design for platform specific automation solutions. Good understanding of the working of the REST API, hands-on experience in API testing using POSTMAN, Swagger and/or RestSharp or Restassured, Hands-on experience on a relational database (like SQL Server or MySql). Able to troubleshoot errors and streamline the testing process. Should have strong hands-on experience with scripting languages & tools for UI and API testing automation - Selenium + Karate Framework OR Selenium + Robot Framework OR Selenium + Cucumber/BDD. Experienced in QA management/CI tools using Jira/Jenkins. Contribute to the continuous upliftment of technical capabilities to support more efficient QA methodologies and accelerated project deliveries. Collaborate with business and technical teams to shape the QA automation strategy. Analyse the platform/solution to check the feasibility for QA automation.
 

What we’re looking for

QA professional with 15+ years software industry experience. More than 10-15 years test automation experience with a minimum of 5 years at a senior level, Demonstrated. Experience in selecting, designing, and implementing test automation frameworks.
test automation frameworks Strong hand-on experience using Selenium with Java and C#, Playwright, cypress Well-versed in more than one programming languages - Core Java, Python, C# or JavaScript JIRA, Azure devops, Confluence and Zephyr Expertise with continuous integration Eg) Jenkins Hands on experience in performance testing using JMeter. Hands on experience in test API’s using Postman and Restassured/Restsharp University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent business degree. Strong experience in designing and building automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications (iOS and Android) using Java/C# Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with specific experience and demonstrable success with the full software development lifecycle; and using the Agile Development processes Experience developing and testing entire systems, with capability to understand details mixed technologies Successful track record as a 'hands on' leader within QA teams, building and managing teams to a level of top-notch professionals Knowledge of desktop-based automation tools like AutoIt/TestComplete/SikuliX
