Role: Cloud Automation Engineer Description of work to be performed: This engagement entails assisting the Cloud Automation team to enhance, deploy, manage, and monitor their infrastructure environment. Specified productivity speed/number of tasks/amount of material: This is to be determined, deliverables will be assessed and allocated based on project scenarios and client needs. Time frame for completion: Initial duration is confirmed for 3 months, however this role is an ongoing need and has the ability extend beyond the initial 3 months through the calendar year. Job Description Our client's Cloud team is looking for a Cloud / Automation Engineers to add to the team through the end of March 2025 (as of now, will likely get extended). The candidate will need to be in Sunnyvale, CA and be willing to go into the office 2 days/week (Monday / Friday). - Azure or Gcp cloud (Cloud Developer) **established in cloud already** - Scope: Developing and deploying Cloud infrastructure (Azure/GCP cloud Developer/Engineer) - Internal proprietary Devops tooling and services (CI/CD) (need to have prior experience here) - Hybrid on prem and cloud environment, Azure and GCP - don't need to have experience working on both. - Light work in CI/CD building - Should be good w/ Cloud API's (these are built in GO/Python) - Tasked with adjusting cloud services as needed (Ex. need more CPU power or more RAM) - Super extensive Python or GO dev experience (Dev side as opposed to Operations) Terraform is a plus, but is a slam dunk -2 types = Build custom modules/templates from scratch OR run scripts for pre-existing modules/templates Backend of cloud engineering from scratch Ansible is okay alternative General Skills Needed: Automation, Python, Go, Cloud Developer, python developer, Go Developer, GCP, Azure, Cloud, terraform, ansible, Aws, Devops, Infrastructure Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
