Job Family Definition:

The Cloud Developer builds from the ground up to meet the needs of mission-critical applications, and is always looking for innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions to solve customer problems.

Brings technical thinking to break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.

Collaborates with project managers and development partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of Cloud engagements.

The Cloud Developer provides business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.

What you’ll do:  

We’re solving the world’s most complex challenges, and our people are at the forefront of progress. We are looking for a hands-on Senior AI/ML Development engineer with a passion to innovate and create cutting edge products for OpsRamp’s observability SaaS product. As a Senior Development Engineers within OpsRamp, you’ll play a part in building the future – one big idea at a time.  You’ll significantly contribute on the end-2-end data and GenAI/AI/ML pipeline experiments, design, development and deployment.

 

This individual must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the cloud native technologies, AI/ML pipelines and appreciation of scale, performance and cost considerations from a Systems as well as AI/ML inference & training aspects as well.

 

· Help in building of OpsRamp’s CoPilot for Autonomous Operations for the Hybrid Cloud.

· Implement  cloud-native architecture concepts and have knowledge of best practices for high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and security requirements in the cloud. 

· Incorporate the MLOPS paradigm and CI/CD in the AI/ML world, while following cloud-native techniques.

· Actively participate in the design and development of AI/ML pipelines, AI Co-pilots/Agents etc.

· Guides and mentors less-experienced staff members to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellence, helping engineers grow in their careers.

 

What you need to bring:

·       3-5 years of relevant experience in the industry delivering scalable cloud/cloud-native solutions with ETL pipelines.

·       Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Engineering, or equivalent 

·       At least 2 years of hands-on expertise in defining, building, training and / or optimizing AI/ML models at scale in any of the popular ML frameworks.

·       Deep Understanding in Multi-agent/RAG/Advanced RAG applications, Prompt Engineering Techniques, Fine-tuning LLMs with an eye on inference performance.  

·       Familiarity with toolchains like Llamaindex, Langchain etc. is desirable.

·       Must have strong knowledge of application failure modes, resiliency patterns, and techniques to enable robust, self-healing designs. 

·       Ability to effectively communicate product design proposals and negotiate with other stakeholders to achieve design consensus.

·       Must be able to work in a global, complex, and diverse environment.
