The team

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with 8-9 years of experience in cloud engineering, specializing in Terraform to join the Product & Engineering Services team.

The role

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AWS services and a strong capability to automate infrastructure provisioning.

Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Automation: Utilize Terraform to develop reusable and modular configurations for automating the provisioning of cloud resources. State Management: Manage Terraform state files and configure remote backends to ensure consistent infrastructure deployment. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure management with application requirements. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs, processes, and procedures for both internal and external stakeholders. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices; demonstrate willingness to learn Go programming language.

What you’ll bring

8-9 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 5 years specializing in Terraform. Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation, including modules and state management. Strong knowledge of AWS services and architecture. Experience with Go is preferred; candidates should be open to learning this language. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $120k-$135k base+ bonus. 

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
