In this role, you will:
Define and implement secure, compliant, scalable versions of cloud resources, ensuring they are exposed as internal products or network-based servicesMake cloud products available for self-service via Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and CloudFormationCollaborate with other teams to craft and deploy infrastructure and app deployment pipelines, as well as DevOps toolsStandardize and automate the onboarding process for app teams into the Landing ZoneAssist app teams in crafting secure and scalable infrastructure using approved cloud productsEnable and support app DevOps teams from onboarding to launchDeploy and manage central services such as networking using DevOps and Infrastructure-as-CodeManage and evolve Landing Zone components to provide scalable governance, including Service Control Policies, Permission Sets, Security Controls, and Landing Zone add-onsSolve a range of issues across various services and functional areasBuild and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and central servicesImplement automation for cost management, analysis, and reportingWhat will make you successful?
We are seeking professionals with:
A university degree in computer science or a related fieldA minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and automationDemonstrable skills in building and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like AnsibleExtensive experience in building automation using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.jsProficiency with Git/BitBucket for code management and Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms for orchestrationStrong knowledge of Linux, including using it as the foundation for automation and coordinating Linux systemsFoundational understanding of TCP/IP Networking, IP addressing, and typical protocolsWorking knowledge of load balancing, PKI certificates, and both SQL and NoSQL databasesThe ability to learn and use a wide variety of open-source technologies and toolsA proactive approach and a sense of ownership, a problem-solving attitude, and a willingness to take on challenging problemsCollaborative work within a team as well as dedicated initiativePreferred qualifications:
Hands-on experience deploying and handling AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation through CI/CD pipelinesExperience with deploying foundational AWS services (e.g., VPC, Subnet, Routes, EC2, EKS, ELB, S3, EBS, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail)Experience with AWS IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, KMS, Secret Manager, and SSMGood understanding of securing AWS environments and meeting compliance requirementsExperience in fixing AWS environmentsExperience managing immutable infrastructure setups with EC2 is a plusKnowledge of Kubernetes and Docker and experience managing Kubernetes environments is advantageousFamiliarity with AWS Landing Zone and underlying technologyExperience with AWS security tools (Guard Duty, Security Hub, Inspector, Config, Access Analyzer, Macie) is a major advantage
