Description The Senior Cloud Engineer holds responsibility for the architecture, deployment, administration, security and upkeep of our entire technological environment. This critical role involves the execution of automation, monitoring systems, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and working closely with cross-functional teams. The individual would be expected to blend technical proficiency with business understanding to address all our computing requisites, spanning from infrastructure design to support, planning and everything in between. The individual must demonstrate the ability to comprehend the big picture and enhance our cloud abilities incrementally. Key Tasks/Responsibilities • Accountable for the architecture, construction, execution, and handoff of scalable, secure cloud and network solutions. • Responsible for pinpointing and deploying the most suitable cloud-based solutions for the company. • Scrutinize and manage technical requirements and business functional requisites to create new cloud platforms and infrastructures and administer cloud setups abiding by the company's security guidelines. • Construct and implement evaluation, relocation and execution strategies to install Azure infrastructures and shift workloads to Azure. • Installation, setup, support and troubleshooting of network equipment including routers, firewalls, switches, virtual appliances, load balancers, UPSs, WAPs, DNS and DHCP. • Work alongside cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and architect solutions that meet business requisites. • Tuning/Boosting of security center – which includes but not limited to Azure Sentinel, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity, e-discovery, vulnerability management, endpoint security, auto-remediation. • Security surveillance including but not restricted to log consolidation, correlation, alerting of incidents and events to resolution. • Conducting occasional audits and evaluations as required. • Oversee the daily management of the company’s several backend software solutions including but not limited to Business Continuity (backup & replication), Intune, MS SCCM/SCOM, Hyper-V, RDS, and O365. • Effective communication with the team, stakeholders, and management has to be maintained at all times while delivering periodic updates, gathering requirements, and presenting technical solutions. +10 more characters needed Requirements Experience: • Proven IT expertise of 5 years dealing with support and troubleshooting of mission-critical enterprise applications, resolving intricate problems, and encouraging technical resolution throughout the organization. • Between 3-5 year's experience in a role related to Cloud Engineering. • Proficient in operating multiple systems, utilities, and related hardware including Windows Server models from 2008 to 2022. • Having experience in initiating, sustaining, and examining disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for a range of technological services. • Plus, if possessing knowledge of SQL and related data stores in database experience. • Proficient with VOIP. • Having the experience to work with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. • Clear evidence of Azure deployment experiences. • Resolutely security conscious. Competencies: • Plus, if proficient in web services, API, REST, and RPC. • Clear understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, WLAN, WWAN, DHCP, DNS. • Extensive acquaintance with networking and internet protocols which includes TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks. • Plus, if possessing the knowledge of Geographic Information System. • Self-motivated and capable of working within a team-integrated environment. • Excellent at communication and organization while keeping focused on tasks and goal achievement within a bustling workspace. • Demonstrating a growth mindset and openness towards learning new skills and technologies in a fast-paced environment.
