Cloud Engineer
Description We are currently in the process of adding a Cloud Engineer to our client's team, based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. The primary focus of this role will be to design and manage cloud-based solutions within the Healthcare/NHS industry. This role necessitates a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other IT professionals to ensure optimal performance of Azure infrastructure. Responsibilities: + Collaborate with Application and Infrastructure team to understand and fulfill their cloud-based needs. + Design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure. + Develop technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations and ensure their resilience and security. + Evaluate and optimize existing cloud solutions to improve performance and scalability. + Implement Azure security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards. + Design and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. + Manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Azure applications. + Monitor Azure environments and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation. + Estimate costs and identify cost control mechanisms for Azure resources. + Document architectural plans and solutions for future reference. Requirements + Applicant must possess a deep understanding of Amazon CloudWatch and its practical applications in a healthcare setting. + Proficiency in Amazon EC2 is required, with a focus on the deployment and maintenance of virtual servers. + Strong skill set in Ansible for IT automation, with specific emphasis on configuration management and application deployment. + Prior experience with Atlassian Jira, particularly in the context of project management and bug tracking, is essential. + Knowledge of Auto Scaling is desired, with an ability to effectively manage scalability of applications. + Candidate should have experience in API Development, creating and managing APIs for system integration. + Automation skills are necessary, with an ability to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency. + Expertise in AWS Technologies is required, with a focus on cloud computing services. + Familiarity with Backup Technologies is expected, ensuring data protection and disaster recovery. + Experience in Cluster Analysis is a plus, particularly in the context of identifying patterns and making predictions in large data sets.
