Description Job Description: Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to support one of our leading clients in their cloud infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments using Microsoft Azure. Key Responsibilities: + Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security + Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep + Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance + Manage Azure resources, including Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, and App Services + Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support automated deployments + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, security teams, and IT operations, to deliver robust cloud solutions + Ensure compliance with best practices for security, governance, and regulatory requirements within the cloud environment + Stay current with Azure services, emerging technologies, and industry trends to recommend improvements and optimizations Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) + 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure + Strong expertise in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure AD, Azure Storage, and Networking + Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep + Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python + Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, VNETs, Load Balancers, Firewalls) in a cloud environment + Knowledge of security best practices, identity management, and access controls within Azure + Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, especially Azure DevOps + Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: + Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or similar certifications + Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS) + Background in hybrid cloud environments and migrating workloads to Azure + Understanding of cloud cost management and optimization strategies + Exposure to monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights What’s in It for You: + Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package + Access to exciting projects with top-tier clients through Robert Half’s extensive network + Professional development opportunities and certification support + Flexible work arrangements (depending on the role and client requirements) + A collaborative environment that fosters innovation and continuous learning Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
