Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, reporting directly to the engineering leadership. This role is focused on private cloud infrastructure, supporting networking, end-user computing, hardware installation, capacity management, and data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically inclined, and eager to work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
Day to day:
Support and maintain private cloud infrastructure (primarily VMware-based)
Manage networking, hardware installations, and system capacity
Work directly with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Handle Active Directory (ADFS) and ensure a deep understanding of AD concepts
Provide customer service and technical support to internal teams
Occasionally travel (less than twice per year) to data centers
Participate in after-hours maintenance as needed

Skills and Requirements
Must-Haves:
3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and system administration
VMware experience (any version)
Strong understanding of enterprise-class storage and basic virtualization concepts
Solid networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Deep understanding of Active Directory (ADFS preferred)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Willingness to work occasional weekends and after-hours maintenance (2-3 AM as needed)
Hands-on, problem-solving mindset were looking for tech enthusiasts, not just book learners
Ability to complete HIPAA training & certification after hire Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with other hypervisors besides VMware
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP (though public cloud use is minimal)
Windows-focused background (Linux knowledge is not required)
Previous experience working in data centers or private cloud environments
Interest in hardware installation and system capacity planning
Comfortable with minimal travel (less than twice per year to data centers) null
