**Description**
SAIC seeking a **Cloud Engineer** located at either **Huntsville, AL or Oahu, Hawaii** to support the **Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC) Regional Joint Training Infrastructure (RJTI) Program for USINDOPACOM at the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC)** to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS or Azure for the RJTI program.
**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
+ Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions to support IL6 (Impact Level 6) workloads on AWS or Azure for the RJTI program
+ Ensure cloud solutions comply with DoD and federal cybersecurity policies and regulations
+ Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including design diagrams, implementation plans, and security controls
+ Collaborate with system owners, architects, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services
+ Perform cloud infrastructure optimization, monitoring, and management to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance
+ Implement security measures to protect cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and incident response
+ Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure cloud infrastructure compliance with IL6 requirements
+ Provide expertise and guidance on cloud best practices and emerging technologies to team members and stakeholders
**Qualifications**
**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
+ Bachelor’s and five (5)+ years of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
+ Experience as a Cloud Engineer with specific expertise in implementation on AWS or Azure, preferably within a military or defense environment
+ Experience designing and implementing workloads on AWS or Azure
+ Experience with cloud infrastructure management, optimization, and monitoring tools
+ Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and incident response
+ Familiarity with DoD and federal cybersecurity regulations and compliance requirements
+ Experience in IL6 workloads and implementation is preferred
+ Must be able to obtain a current Passport and be willing to travel up to 25%
**REQUIRED CLEARANCE:**
+ Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
+ Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
