We’re seeking a Cloud FinOps Engineer to join our dynamic Cloud Center of Expertise within the Technology department who will lead the financial operations within the organization, ensuring efficient management of financial resources, optimizing cloud usage, and aligning financial strategies with business objectives. The role focuses on cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and collaborating across departments to maximize cloud investment.

Demonstrate your passion

You'll develop and implement strategies that align cloud usage with our financial goals, working closely with key stakeholders like the CFO, CTO, and product teams. You'll be an advocate for FinOps culture, promoting cloud cost optimization practices throughout the organization. Collaborating with engineering, IT, DevOps, and product teams, you'll ensure our cloud usage follows financial best practices.  Your role will be crucial in balancing cloud performance needs with cost control. Transparency is key, and you will ensure accurate cost attribution to business units. You'll also lead initiatives to automate cloud cost management, implementing innovative tools and dashboards.

Get things right

You'll monitor cloud usage and spending, ensuring everything runs efficiently and cost-effectively. Your keen eye for detail will help you analyze and interpret cost data, usage trends, and cloud bills, providing actionable insights. You'll design and implement innovative policies and tools to control cloud costs while maintaining top-notch performance. You’ll setting up KPIs to measure cost efficiency and track performance against the budget, ensuring we stay on target.

What Makes You Unique:

You hold a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. With at least 4 years of experience in financial operations, cloud cost management, or a similar role focused on cloud infrastructure, you bring the perfect blend of skills and expertise for this position. You have proven your ability to manage cross-functional teams, particularly within finance, technology, or cloud environments. Your strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, along with their pricing models, sets you apart. Your expertise in cloud financial management tools such as CloudHealth, Cloudability, and AWS Cost Explorer is impressive. You have solid analytical skills, allowing you to interpret complex cost data and provide strategic recommendations. Your excellent communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  As a global citizen, you embrace diversity and communicate fluently in English.  You promote openness, transparency, and welcome feedback and others’ ideas.
