Job Description Our banking client is looking for a Cloud FinOps Analyst to join a large Cloud Business Office team that is focused on Research & Advancement and Strategy & Monitoring. This team works with Cloud services providers (Amazon AWS & MSFT Azure) to ensure they are meeting financials. You will be responsible for technical analysis, maximizing savings plans, strategy, understanding and pulling data from large, complicated sets. You will also be responsible for building relationships in the large Engineering and Platforms team, looking at their architecture and then building a policy to share with the enterprise. You will look at the assets and see if the costs have been allocated correctly. Your day to day will involve meetings, capturing meeting minutes, reporting on status, and understanding financially/technically if this team is meeting financial and communicating the info in a clear fashion. We are looking for someone who has experience working on AWS/Azure and understanding how to search resources, tag architecture and how the cost flows from different departments. In addition, we need someone who understands the financials from a technical lens (how does this translate financially?) by extracting data and making sense of it. Skills and Requirements - 2-4+ years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst - 2+ years of experience working on Cloud FinOps projects - 1-2+ years of enterprise level experience - Experience working with PowerBI or similar tool to extract and analyze large sets of data - Understanding costs/financials associated with Azure/AWS - Experience with research/advancements/strategy etc - Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint (to create and present decks) - Fundamental understanding of Cloud, APIs, architecture, migrations etc Soft Skills: - Curious, fast learner, agile (open to working in an environment where things change often) - Hyper organized/prepared - Technical skills can be learned partially in the role null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
