Position Description:
The Cloud Information Systems Security Engineer provides support to the customer in the area of Cyber Security. Daily Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Provides analytical and technical security recommendations to the customerLead for the identification of projects’ security requirementsProvides security recommendations for systems using Cloud servicesParticipates in network design reviews and security testing for the customer’s networksCoordinates with system development teams to ensure network security standards are being followed and implemented correctlyIdentifies additional security requirements, based on RMF or as the result of security issues that put the customer’s systems at riskReviews and analyzes new systems (hardware and software) and provides recommendations concerning their securityReviews Security Requirements Traceability Matrixes (SRTMs), System Security Plans (SSPs) and other IA documentation for completenessRequired Qualifications:
Current U.S. Government TS/SCI with CI PolyAn Advanced Cyber Certification (DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III)A certification in one of the below Cloud certifications: CompTIA Secure Cloud Professional (CSCP) CompTIA Cloud+ CE AWS certification (Associate or Professional in Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer, or Security Advanced Networking) Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Cloud Certified Professional Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge VMWare Certified Advanced Professional – Cloud Infrastructure Administration Microsoft Specialist: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions Microsoft Specialist Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions At least 3 year of demonstrated experience providing security engineering to cloud capabilities and solutions in AWS, Azure or other mainstream CSPExcellent communications skills – Verbal and Non-VerbalDemonstrated expertise and experience in networking protocols and conceptsDemonstrated knowledge and experience in software defined networking principles and technologiesDemonstrated experience providing security engineering support to capability migration from on-prem to cloudDemonstrated knowledge and experience in the NIST RMFDemonstrated expertise and experience in cybersecurity principlesDemonstrated experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systemsDesired Qualifications:
Demonstrated cloud architecting experience (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect)Systems Engineering (configuration management, requirements management/writing, architecture, interfaces)Knowledgeable of customer’s infrastructureFamiliarity with customer’s IA processesBachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervisionExperience briefing senior customer personnelAbility to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentExperience with IA vulnerability testing and related network and system test tools (i.e. retina, HBSS, EVSS, ACAS)Experience with XACTAFamiliarity with Enterprise Cross Domain Solutions (ECDS)Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security DomainTENICA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
