Meet the team

 

The vision for our organization is to provide a unified data management layer to connect, discover, orchestrate and manage data assets. The organization enables analytical, intelligent and data-driven capabilities across the SAP Intelligent Enterprise by automatically providing actionable insights within business processes.

Our team enables this by focusing on topics such as the Infrastructure Cloud Monitoring, using Grafana, Dynatrace and ELK, Hana integration as well as developing mission-critical Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry backing services that provide integration points between different Lines of Business

What you'll do: 

 

· Work with the team to design, build and create complex could systems

· Participate in all phases of the software development, from design discussions, implementation, testing, to deployment and operations

· Follow established best practices for high code quality within the team

· Be able to work with the team for continuous improvement: personal, team and product

· Get hands-on experience with the latest Kubernetes technologies and features, developing features and working in improvements

 

What you bring:

 

Required

University education in computer science, software engineering or similar Strong knowledge in at least one of: Go, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript Knowledge of Linux Experience with computer networks Knowledge of concurrent programming Curiosity for quickly learning new technologies, concepts, and tools Good interpersonal skills and fluency in English

 

Preferred You are either familiar with or at least curious about:

Cloud computing, distributed systems, container technology e.g. Docker Kubernetes, Kubernetes operators Elasticsearch, Logstash und Kibana (ELK Stack) Dynatrace Hana Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud Experience with integration of Open-Source Software
