About this opportunity:
Join Ericsson as an Integration Engineer, an integral role where you will have the opportunity to manage and implement integration services. This role involves executing test cases to verify the flow and function of an integrated system. Heightened attention towards group directives, legal, and financial obligations will ensure compliance and efficiency. You will also play a key role in maintaining and implementing E+OHS, data security, and privacy processes and tools on a global and local scale.
What you will do:
- Work directly with external customers to support the Engagement Practices and other Practice Areas within Cloud & Core and GSC India.
- Deliver technical solutions that enhance the customer's competitive position and improve network capacity, functionality, and end-user services.
- Identify growth opportunities from maturing solutions, drive innovation, and monetize existing footprints through new solution/offering design.
- Provide expert support to internal market and sales organizations regarding the solutions portfolio.
- Analyze customer business processes and requirements.
- Handle customer issues via Customer Service Requests, on-call investigation, and technical support during emergencies.
- Conduct Software Update Management (SUM) and manage both hardware and software issues.
- Formulate test plans and use cases as per customer configurations and network features.
- Assist during contract/commercial negotiations and contribute to EKB and Ericsson business processes.
The skills you bring:
- 4+ years of in-depth experience in Solution Integration, Engineering, and/or Product Development in Telecom Network domains.
- Expertise in Linux, Python or Shell scripting, and database knowledge (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
- Excellent knowledge of L2/L3 protocols/technologies (VLAN, Switching/Routing Protocols, L2VPN/L3VPN), overlay VxLAN and GRE, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, ISIS, QOS, VOIP).
- Experience in implementing/rolling out services in Metro Ethernet, SDN/NFV, IP/MPLS.
- Hands-on experience with SDN/NFV stacks/protocols like ODL, OpenStack, ONOS, and others, as well as Python, JSON, and REST.
- Excellent knowledge of Data Fabric creation & CLS Architecture (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme SLX) and virtualization/orchestrator.
- Strong understanding of Solution & System Integration, and mandatory hands-on experience in implementing COTS products.
- Good knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Drive changes in methods, processes, and guidelines, and act as a leader/mentor.
- Drive lead generation add-on sales and business opportunities.
- Certification: Cisco (CCIE > CCNA > CCIE), Juniper (JNCIE > JNCIP > JNCIS), CKA certification required.
