And our work depends on TS/SCI level cleared Cloud Operations Specialist joining our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO The Cloud Operations Specialist will be responsible for working with highly functional team which onboards cloud developers into the Common Operations Release Environment (CORE) which is a collection of services that enable developers to deliver mission-specific software in our customer’s cloud environments. Responsibilities: • Address developer inquiries, questions, and issues concerning NGA-provisioned development tools • Onboard developers into the Common Operations Release Environment (CORE) software factory • Provision AWS WorkSpaces to developers • Develop/update WorkSpace bundles • Create and manage IAM users and policies • Manage Active Directory users, groups, and OUs • Manage access to CORE’s DevSecOps tools including GitLab, Nexus, Kong, OpenShift • Monitor CloudWatch metrics for health and utilization of AWS resources and applications • Maintain and document procedures for onboarding customer internal and external teams Education/Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience • 7+ years IT developer experience Qualifications: Required— Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology • Familiarity with DevSecOps development processes and GitLab Continuous Integration tool • Strong understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions • Experience with Python • Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services • Strong troubleshooting skills • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Excellent attention to detail • Team player who works well with customers and colleagues • Work effectively both independently and in a team environment Desired— • Knowledge of Containerization and Kubernetes • Understanding of cloud APIs • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC); preferably Terraform Required Certifications: • DoD 8140/8570 IAT III compliance This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
