Overview: Job Title:Cloud & Policy SME Location: Remote/Hybrid Job Responsibilities: Trace Systems is seeking an experienced, cleared Cloud & Policy SME to p rovide design, engineering, and operational support to multiple cloud based environments in support of ELITE AFRICOM Hybrid based in Vienna, VA or Tampa, FL. Duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to: + Analyze services to determine viability to migrate to the cloud and develop roadmaps for execution + Migrate, maintain, and support Cloud computing environments and continuously create improvements to enhance the durability, performance, and maintainability + Develop the Cloud Financial Operations Strategy, Guidebook, and Playbook for cost management, budgeting, and investment decision-making. + Provide insight into FinOps governance, financial accountability, and cloud spend optimization. + Ensure alignment with COCOM enterprise policies and DoD financial management frameworks. + Define strategic imperatives and implementation actions to enable cloud financial transparency and efficiency. Minimum Qualifications: + Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance + Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required + Five (5) years of recent specialized experience + Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 or AWS or Google Cloud Services + Experience in systems infrastructure design, support, and administration + Experience working in a hybrid environment + Deep understanding of cloud cost management, FinOps, and governance frameworks. + Experience with cloud financial operations tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Google Cloud Billing). + Knowledge of DoD and federal financial management policies. + Certifications such as FinOps Certified Practitioner, AWS Certified Cloud Economics, or PMP preferred. + DoD 8570 IAT-II certification (Security+) Desired Qualifications: + Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator OR Microsoft Certified Azure Developer + DoD 8570 IAT-III certification (CISSP, CASP+, CISM) Education: + Bachelors degree + 5 years of specialized experience, OR Associates degree + 7 years specialized experience, OR 11 total years of specialized experience in lieu of a degree.
