Job Responsibilities:

Solutions Architect driving cloud adoption and services-based solutions for application, system, and infrastructure level implementations. Understands and promotes services-based software design and automated deployment methodologies. In-depth experience with design and integration of cloud virtualization with traditional network, compute, storage, security, and data infrastructures/services. Provides directional guidance for traditional infrastructure design services, including integration, non-functional requirements and analysis. Develops and coordinates integrated and hybrid solutions across Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and traditional infrastructure including compute, application containers, database systems, firewalls, load balancers, andnetworks. Develops solutions for disaster recovery to include site and component redundancy, data retention and recovery objectives, and reference designs for Active-Active and Active-Passive (hot/cold stand-bye) topologies.Coordinates with DevOps teams to ensure alignment with network engineeringand infrastructure security solutions. Develops enterprise infrastructure standards and Reference Architectures for multi-vendor platforms. Provide integration and solution design services across public/private cloud and traditional bare-metal systems. Provide Consultative, Strategic, Conceptual, and Directional design support for all infrastructure and platform designs. Provide Intake, Engagement, and Service Delivery Assessments of customer requests for Infrastructure design & procurement. Drive continuous alignment with the boundary and cross-boundary partners to establish, nurture and update design standards, templates, decision trees, heatmaps and guidelines. Lead planning pertinent to the design and intelligent placement automation. Align with Automation and cloud portal partners to define and refine automation roadmaps. Works with vendors analyzing, researching, evaluating & recommending emerging technologies & support services. Interfaces with cross functional Subject Matter Experts on standards, rules, and support via infrastructure designs. Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions.

Experience:

BS in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Generally, 5-8 years of experience in engineering and software architecture, coding languages (Java/JavaScript, Ansible, Python). Cloud Architecture certification preferred. Solid communications, presentation, time management, and teamcollaboration skills. Requires critical thinking, accountability, leadership, and customer-centric soft skills.
