Description We are in search of a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our team's capabilities. This role is primarily focused on ensuring the security of our cloud-based infrastructure, centered in NEW YORK, New York. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be tasked with implementing and managing security tools, responding to security incidents, and continuously enhancing the security posture of our cloud environments. Responsibilities: • Implement and manage cloud security solutions and tools • Monitor cloud infrastructure for unusual activities, security breaches, and intrusions • Analyze and respond to security alerts and incidents in a timely manner • Identify vulnerabilities and assess risks within the cloud environment • Develop and implement remediation strategies for potential security threats • Collaborate with client teams to administer security tools • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard cloud environments • Stay updated on new threats and vulnerabilities, and adjust security measures as necessary • Provide clear and concise reports and documentation on security incidents, findings, and recommendations • Conduct security audits and reviews of cloud infrastructure and applications • Support security compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar role. • Proficient in Microsoft Azure. • Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM). • Proven experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS). • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools is a must. • Knowledge of HITRUST security framework. • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work independently and in team settings. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience. • Relevant security certifications would be a plus.
