The selected candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining the security of cloud-based platforms and networks. This role mainly involves the application of technical knowledge to ensure the safe operation of our cloud infrastructure, making it a crucial component of our business operations. This role is hybrid 2 days onsite in Los Angeles, CA or Chicago, IL Responsibilities: • Employ Microsoft Azure skills to enhance the security of our cloud environment • Apply in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices to safeguard our digital assets • Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview • Demonstrate self-motivation and proactivity in the face of pressure and challenging situations • Exhibit a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks • Communicate effectively, both in written and oral form, to facilitate smooth operations • Leverage extensive experience in cybersecurity to tackle complex security issues • Utilize Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon EC2, Ansible, Atlassian Jira, Auto Scaling, API Development, Automation, AWS Technologies, Backup Technologies, and Cluster Analysis skills to optimize cloud security • Handle and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally • Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary . Requirements • Proficient in Amazon CloudWatch and Amazon EC2 • Expertise in Ansible and Atlassian Jira • Familiarity with Auto Scaling techniques and tools • Experience in API Development and Automation • Comprehensive knowledge of AWS Technologies • Understanding of Backup Technologies • Skilled in Cluster Analysis • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure • Ability to design and implement cloud security solutions • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and security fundamentals • Experience with risk assessment, interpretation, and compliance • Knowledge of cloud security operations and performance • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud security issues • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
