Job Title: Cloud Security EngineerJob Description The Cloud Security team is responsible for identifying, containing, and eradicating cybersecurity threats in our software and services. Support the discovery, evaluation, and remediation of security vulnerabilities, monitor existing vulnerability scanners and dashboards, update or create required documentation for the Vulnerability Management (VM) program, conduct triage to determine the severity and impact of identified vulnerabilities, coordinate with teams to communicate vulnerabilities and determine remediation approaches, and assist in developing metrics to support tracking the effectiveness of the VM program. Responsibilities + Identify, contain, and eradicate cybersecurity threats in software and services. + Support the discovery, evaluation, and remediation of security vulnerabilities. + Monitor existing vulnerability scanners and dashboards. + Update or create required documentation for the Vulnerability Management (VM) program. + Conduct triage to determine the severity and impact of identified vulnerabilities. + Coordinate with teams to communicate vulnerabilities and determine remediation approaches. + Assist in developing metrics to support tracking the effectiveness of the VM program. Essential Skills + Experience with AWS, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. + Experience triaging cybersecurity vulnerabilities and understanding the CVSS system. + Familiarity with Cloud Security (AWS) and container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker. + Ability to understand existing SQL queries and develop/fine-tune new queries. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Open to learning new Security Operations technologies and skills. + Familiarity with Go coding. Work Environment This is a 100% remote position. The core team is available from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm PST. The individual must be able to work for at least 4 hours during this period, with the remaining hours worked outside this time window. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
