Belay Technologies is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join our intel team. 


Candidates should have the following qualifications: 

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraphBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of general experienceFive (5) years of general experience in software development/ engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, ad problem diagnosis/resolutionShall have at least three (3) years of experience developing software with high level languages, such as Java, C, C++Shall have at least two (2) years of experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (NoSOL, such as HBase CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc., as well as two (2) years of experience with the Map Reduce programing model, the Distributed File System (HDFS), and technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, etc.Shall have demonstrated work experience with Serialization, such as JSON and/or BSONShall have demonstrated work experience with developing restful services and Ruby on Rails frameworkShall have at least three (3) years of experience developing software in UNIZ/Limix (Red Hat versions 3-5+) operating systemsShall have demonstrated work experience in the design and development of at least one Object-Oriented systemShall have domonstrated work experience developing solutions integrating and extending FOSS/COTS productsCandidates are desired to have the following skills:Experience deploying applications in cloud environmentUnderstanding of Big-Data Cloud Scalability (Amazon, Google, Facebook)Hadoop/Cloud Developer CertificationExperience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms. Experience with taxonomy construction for analytic disciplines, knowledge areas, and skills.
